So, I just read this collection of poetry, I Am An Emotional Creature, and it was awesome. Empowering, uplifting, heart-wrenching, everything. It makes you want to take action, stand on a roof top and declare “I am An Emotional Creature!”

There’s this one poem in there I LOVED that I thought, “This would be awesome to see as a collectively read piece from women all over the world.” and then I thought, “yeah, I should try and do that.” So, here’s how this works:

1. Check out this amazing poem, Refuser.
2. Get your camera or webcam and record yourself reading a line from the poem.
3. Cross out that line on the poem (Highlight and click “Format” —> “Strikethrough”) and make sure it saves your changes
4. Send the video clip to me (email the file, send me a link to youtube or wherever, upload it, just get something to me)
5. Repeat (up to 5 lines per person max, and don’t do consecutive lines)

I’ll take all the video clips once we’ve got the whole poem read and piece them together into one video and post it up here. So stay tuned.
